Delays in arranging or attending appointments may impact report completion timeframes and could affect the availability of supporting evidence for plan reviews or funding applications.
If an urgent report is required due to an upcoming review, please discuss this with our administration team at the time of referral so we can advise whether an expedited timeframe may be possible.

We are committed to providing professional, person-centred continence and clinical nursing services across Australia.
A continence assessment is a comprehensive discussion with a qualified nurse to better understand how bladder, bowel, toileting, and continence issues are affecting your daily life.
The assessment is designed to identify your individual needs, understand any challenges you may be experiencing, and determine what supports, products, strategies, or funding recommendations may help improve your quality of life.
For most clients, the appointment involves a conversation rather than a physical examination.
The nurse will ask questions about:
- Bladder and bowel habits
- Toileting routines
- Medical history and diagnoses
- Medications
- Mobility and transfers
- Skin integrity
- Daily supports and care needs
- Current continence products being used
- The impact continence issues have on everyday life
You are welcome to have a family member, carer, support worker, advocate, or trusted person present during the assessment. In many cases, carers and family members provide valuable information that helps us gain a complete understanding of the person’s needs.
Most continence assessments do not require a physical examination. If a physical assessment is considered necessary, this will always be discussed with you beforehand, your consent will be obtained, and the purpose of the assessment will be clearly explained. You have the right to ask questions, decline any part of the assessment, or request the presence of a support person at any time.
